When we first started marketing and selling fairy photography sessions, way back…around 2005 or so, we ran ad s in our local newspaper, placed 4″x6″ postcards in local gymnastics schools, and at local dance schools. These, plus inclusion in our printed newsletter, blog post, emailing our studio email list, and calling our clients. We did it all. Used every marketing strategy we could think of, working with everything we had.
And it worked. Nowadays, we hardly need to do much else beyond Facebook and Instagram pay per click ads. These targeted ads need to set up a certain, and when done right, they work. Like magic.
I’m not one to think it will always be so. Things change. We knows where we’ll be in a few years time. What media type will dominate. I’m open, and always on guard.
But for now, payperclick works, and it’s effective.
